Eurovision 2019 is coming soon and the city of Tel Aviv need to find a good accomodation solution for hosting thousands of visitor.

currently, 2018 Israel facing increase number of visitors and already today there is a lack of proper accommodation and the price already skyrocketing.

the Municipalty of Tel Aviv try to find a creative solutions for the problem, and one of the option is to bring a Cruise ship to dock near by Tel Aviv, hope to ease a bit the high demand for hotel accommodation during the 2019 Eurovision

Currently it seems to be a great solution to accomodate a large number of people in a very short time.

we thinks that the Port of Ashdod is the best option to host this cruise ship hotel, and offer the port facilities for the visitors!

For many years Ashdod port is one of the major sea port for cruise lines visiting Israel and beside the accomodation the visitors will have the chance to enjoy some nice shore excursions exploring Israel.

Ashdod dance festival

For the second time the city of Ashdod hold a dance festival, the festival name is “AshdodDance“. the festival will last for four days starts from today July 31 til Aug 02, it will take place in few locations around the city.

The festival is a tribute to the Israeli music and the Israel folk dance.

Some shows are free and open for public, some with admission fee.

Today , Sunday July 30: The Israeli navy intercepts Gaza flotilla boat. the boat “Al-Awda” boat (under a Norwegian flag) was carrying dozens of international activists and two Israeli citizens.

The “Al-Awda” was towed to Ashdod Port.

currently Israel extend Ashdod port and build a new port (northern of today port) The vision is that Ashdod will be a major trade hub between east & west, Asia & Europe.
Today most of the Asia – Europe trade go through the Suez canal, with the current instability in the middle east Eilat – Ashdod port become the best alternative.

The visionis that the Cargo will transport from Asia to Eilat port, unload and transport by cross Negev railway to Ashdo port and from Ashdod by ship to Europe.
Ashdod – Eilat alternative will ensure the trade, will save transport time and will reduce the costs.
